It's been a 2 weeks well spent.

Hello peeps!

I'm sorry I've been delaying on my update on my term break that has ended. Well, I'm here in State Library and having a lot of free time while June, Edwin and Jiaye are studying.

And no, I'm not studying with them. I mean, who studies on the first day of Term 2?

Ok lah, probably this week I'll study, but certainly not today =P

Anyway, let's get on with my update to my term break. Right after exam, we started our programs. Well, more of a spend-your-time-on-useless-stuff-so-you-don't-get-bored-to-death program. So for first stop, we went to our friend's accomodation, International House, or rather known as IH. Well, for a first impression, I feel very depressed staying Albert House.

For those who don't know, IH has a Wii, a fusbal table, a proper pool table, two vending machines, one big garage, one basketball court, a tennis court, and one home theatre, all to themselves. Plus, they only have to pay 16K a annually. It's certainly very depressing. No pictures here as I am too depressed. Well, on the bright side, Albert House is nearer to the city, and more reachable in terms of transportation.

Moving on, we went to Crown's fire display at night. Nothing can be described, so just enjoy the momentary pause of words, enjoy the pictures =]

This looks awesomely cool isn't it? Credits to Edwin Ngan =]

This, is just pure posing xD

Hmm, that's pretty much what happened for our first day of holiday. The next few days were pretty dull as a matter of fact. Just staying at home and spacing out, playing pool, pingpong, computer games. Besides that there's nothing much to do in Albert House.

On tuesday though, I guess it was the 14th? A few Albert House mates and I went to Smith Street, because the others wanna shop. And I wasn't gonna stay at home and rot. So, I tagged along. Smith Street is a street where all the bargain stuff are at, so we poor people usually go there to shop for cheap and good stuff. So as usual you know laah, the girls usually shop like mad. So we were so impatient that some of us started camwhoring.

After I-have-no-idea-how-long minutes waiting, we continued walking along Smith Street, and came across the first Lolly Store, called Original Lolly Store. I guess others are just fake lollies, isn't it?

What's Yisiang so gloomy about?

Yeah yeah I know, just shuddup.

There are few more interesting stuff we found out in Smith Street. Such as:
Friendly warning from the police =]

This was from New Balance. Apparently running shoes are also supporting poker as a sport now.

Size 14, beat that! Or was it 18?

Yisiang's so called 'impulse buying'. He's the blue shirt dude hunting for bags.

Well, pretty much an interesting day for a start. We wanted to go to IKEA but we spent too much time in Smith Street that we gotta cancel the trip to the blue and yellow franchise.

At night was a pretty much interesting affair. I went to KDU gathering, right here in Melbourne!! There are around 20 KDU-ians studying right in this state (Victoria, the place they claim to be the place to live in). Well, seeing them wasn't much of a very exciting thing, cuz I see them almost everyday. Most of them are also in Trinity College you see. Melbourne has the most KDU outpost after Malaysia. Where most of them study local, Melbourne is the second largest KDU community followed by UK. I had dinner before meeting them, so I went there and see them eat Thai Food. How enjoyable eh? Thank god the Thai Food wasn't that delicious.

And of course, what would a gathering be without pictures?
God she's heavy!

After the meal we decided to go to the park to 'chill'. Well, more pictures come of course!

Ehem. The 'young' ones.

Jia-ye, remember your 'before' and 'after'. This is 'now'.

Nariza wants to be 7 again.

Lam, the 'tall' one.

That's not my bag by the way.

Ok, I don't smile like that!

They do look like those special female agents.

Ok Lam. You're having fun. We know.

And now he's acting cool =____=

Shu-Hui. The one who always left me speechless =__=''

I think Nariza saw something in her mouth. Something tells me it wasn't nice seeing it.

Well, seeing them and hanging out with them was very fun indeed. Glad to know them as my friends.

Still reading? Wow, I'm impressed. Guessed most of you must have left cuz this is gonna be a hell of a long post. Anyway...

The next day i went to Chapel Street with Edwin, Yisiang, Alan and Nicholas. Chapel Street is the total opposite of Smith Street, with all the branded goods over there. Despite being a very luxurious street, toilets are bare. Yisiang and I searched for 10minutes, and we finally had our thick faces to get into a restaurant without the waiters looking to use the toilet. We exited through the back door by the way. The toilets are lik prison, though. Easy way in, hard way out.

The whole Chapel Street was okay an ok trip. You know lah, I'm poor. But, Edwin bought a 200dollar jacket. And he's wearing it right beside me =___=

Mm, let's see. Thursday then. I finally had a haircut. FINALLY. My head feels so light now. No more flapping my hair around hahahaha

After that, I met up with a few KDU-ians to visit Melbourne Museum. I had a free entry cuz a friend of mine could not make it after she bought the tickets so she gave it to me. Lucky =P

Museum was sooo boring. SO not for 17year olds already. But it does have some cool bones. They exhibit a full bone structure for a whale. And that's something you don't see in Malaysia.

Oh and by the way, the left one is just a model, can ignore her. Hahahahaa

Uhh. Not really a lot of museum pictures sadly. More of Nariza posing and camwhoring, so we'll just leave that out.

Friday I went out (again) to Chadstone with a few KDU-ians. If I'm not mistaken it was with Edwin, Jia-ye, Shu-hui, Nariza and June. Ok now this is the desperate part. Nariza was so amazed she was finally out of town she began acting a little coocoo already. Sorry, Nariza! Wait, she doesn't read my blog xD

At night was Edwin's brother, Weng Hong's birthday! I guess Nariza invited me there. And how did she managed to get invited? She invited herself =___=
Still, we were there till 3? I went there around 9 something but still sang the life outta me x.x
Girls go crazy when it come to karaoke. Like Shu-Hui, she picked all JJ's songs but never sang one of them! That's. Mad.

On Saturday went out watch movies, Monster VS Aliens 3D. Cool movie, cooler if you watch it on 3D =DD

Sunday was a weekend. So what do you do when it's a weekend? Go out to suburbs of course!!
We went out all the way to a small town called Whittleley or something. I don't know the real name but I know it's in the middle of nowhere. Steamboat is our lunch. Pretty cool considering you in the Land of Whites, you don't really get a lot of privelleges to eat Chinese Food here. If you do it'd be damn expensive. Nevertheless, putting all those raw food into the pot makes me feel so nostalgic of my steamboat with my family last time. And now I wonder why do I hate steamboat so much when I was younger.

We also went there to celebrate Weng Hong's birthday. Although one day later, I guess it's the thoughts that counts right? On the other hand, Weng Hong is a real camwhorer.
First, with me.

Then, with Jia-ye.

Finally, with Kwann Kit.

This are the guys in the Steamboat Day.

And this are the girls. Well, besides Weng Hong of course.

I still remember Jia-ye and I sat on the edge of the train platform and Shu-Hui was shouting us back. It's not like we're gonna die, right? The train wasn't even there by the way.
That's it for the first week of term break, busy I am haha. Edwin came over the overnight in my place after steamboat. Ahh, miss those time when we talk to each other in the dark.

On Monday Yann Kang and Ambrose came back from Malaysia. And we finally watched the movie Fast and Furious 4. Pretty cool show. Recommended for everyone, especially those who love cars.

At night I went to Edwin's place to do some videos for a friend. We were stuck on how to do it and everything. So, when boredom strucks, we played with his Macbook :D

Ignore the Hello Kitty background, it's just animated wallpaper.

Tuesday, 21st April was a big day for Albert House. We organised a trip to Philip Island!! This island is one of the top 5 attractions in Australia. Or so the tour guide claims. Obviously someone was very excited about it.
Though, some can't be bothered.

And, some don't even seem happy joining the trip.

Either way, the group were looking forward to visiting the land of penguins!

We first stopped by a zoo to visit Koalas And Kangaroos. This is a small park where they kept some of Australia's most precious animals and showcase it to the public. Well, public meaning us, since there wasn't many people in the park.

Fauna Park! There were quite a few fauna there alright.

Kangaroo Food. 1dollar.

After buying the food, we were prepared to feed them!

Some of us were very happy getting licked by a kangaroo in the hand. Presenting, Jayden.

And some would just want to taste how does kangaroo food taste like.

The koalas there are awesome! They're so fat.
Like this.

And this.

This, too.

As well as this.

After much WHOAs and WOAHs about Koalas and Kangaroos. We went out to the open space, or a garden, to find - more Kangaroos!! Now don't be decieved for their size are smaller than us, they're so strong that when we fed them, their grip to the food container is overwhelming!

And besides the norm colour of kangaroo, we spotted something, too.

A white kangaroo!

Besides that, we also found out that the kangaroos were so underfed, that when we went in, this happened.

Of course, seeing them so abused by the caretakers and us being so kind, we have to feed them right.

And for a very short moment, I was able to capture this picture of the Kangaroo and her son.

So cute, isn't it?

Some of the housemates also managed to capture some intimate moments among the kangaroos.

Apparently, that's how they mate.

In the zoo we found many interesting animals as well, including the one who is associated with Dalai Lama.
The Llama

The tasmanian Devil, who in this picture, looks very devilish.

That's a kind of horse, or pony, no idea.

The Peacock.

Some kind of dog, not a Husky though. Forgot what is its name already.

Sheeps. I think the kidnapped this one from Auckland.

The Llama showing us its catwalk.

And of course, there must be a wombat right?

Before leaving the zoo, we took group pictures.

Our next stop is to the Chocolate Factory. I thought it might just be another boring trip to one of this place. I was wrong.

It turned out to be those really cool place for the fact the chocolate produced there has a lot of nuts.

They are really 100% chocolate!!!

Leon, this is not what you think it is.

quotes Ambrose, " 顶你的肺, this chocolate is mine!“

Leaving the Chocolate Factory, we set out for the seaside, just in time to catch the sunset.

The guys grabbed a cool picture beside the setting sun.
On the other hand, Jayden was so inspired by Icarus, he tried learning the new art - sun eating.

Andrew tried to eat this mighty planet, too.
But I guess to no avail, since outside is still so bright now.

Meanwhile, when most of the gang were at the top of the cliff drooling over the beautiful view, we went down and greeted by a more awesome scene.

It was so beautiful that we just have to maximize our time to take as many pictures as we could.

We are 'The Thinker[s]"

My green shoelaces!

As technology advances, we were not going to eat the sun anymore, instead we wanted to shoot it down.Even if this means using various parts of our body.

Can you spot the traitor here?

We took two seperate group pictures.
The ones up there.

The ones down there.

Before leaving, I managed to get a glimpse of the sun before it set behind the mountains.

This was really a worthwhile trip. We saw penguins, although wasn't allowed to take pictures, it was a great chance to see this creature, and how small they are. We also experienced the beauty of the sky, stars are lik galaxy, something you wouldn't see back in Malaysia. I would have taken a picture but it was too dark and none of us has a Nikon Camera. So much for memory, I guess we just have to remember what it's like seeing that many stars. I spotted the lines of Scorpio and Saggitarus. Pretty awesome =]

The rest of the term break was just hanging out with friends, having lunches, and watching all the movies before classes start again. I guess I've visited the cinemas at least 5 times within this two-week span. And all movies are worth watching.

As for now, I just have to say,
it's back to college again!
